The bonnets are great for keeping your pads nicer, longer. The sturdy backing plate wont let you down, its built for endurance. If you really want to take care of your car finish, this is the kit to buy. They last and wash clean afterward. Together with a Porter Cable 7424 polisher, you can polish and wax like a true professional.The pads vary from soft to firm. You can change pads in a second. This kit is really great.One caution: it's a good idea to cover molding with masking tape when using a power applicator. Or stay away from those areas and do them by hand.This is my third orbital polishing system and by far the best I've ever used.
